Nanny

I’m originally from Michigan and have lived in Costa Rica just over 7 years now. My passion for nurturing and caring for children came the moment I was given my first doll. I had an innate sense of deep care and understanding for kids. I am one of five kids, and would often host classes & events for my siblings and friends – saving my halloween candy and stickers earned at piano lessons for prizes for those who attended my “events.” When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up my answer was always the same, “I want to be a mom!” That statement remained true and has even expanded to what I love doing now. I grew up babysitting since I was 12 years old often watching several kids at once. I’ve had experience with all ages, overnights, drama clubs, Sunday school and school programs, as well as being a full time nanny. Since then I have been blessed with two children of my own (now 10 and 13 years old). Living in Costa Rica, I’ve seen a need from families traveling with children who either need a night out with friends, those who are hosting retreats or wellness classes, looking for properties without dragging the kids around all day, or simply can’t bring the kids to some of the more adventurous things you may want to experience. I know how important it is to have peace of mind (especially in a foreign country), knowing your children are safe and having fun! I’m confident not only providing that care and attention to each child’s individual needs, but also making lasting memories for your children while on vacation.
