Piano Magic: A Global Approach to Music & Whole Body Learning About me With over 15 years of international teaching experience spanning Thailand, Canada, and Costa Rica, I bring a world-class perspective to music education. I began my own journey at the piano at age four and am a certified instructor through the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) of Canada. My background in graphic design also informs my creative approach, allowing me to develop visually engaging, custom-tailored materials for every student. I believe that music should be felt, not just read. My signature "Whole Body Learning" method moves beyond the traditional "bench-only" style of teaching. Especially for younger students, we incorporate movement, rhythm games, and tactile engagement to ensure that the language of music is internalized. This approach builds a stronger foundation in timing, ear training, and technical proficiency while keeping the energy high and the frustration low. Tailored Curriculum for Every Learner No two brains work the same way, so no two "Piano Magic" lessons are identical. Whether a student is: A Young Beginner: Focusing on play-based learning and foundational joy. RCM Focused: Preparing for formal examinations with rigorous technical training and theory. Creative-Led: Exploring improvisation, pop styles, or personal composition. I specialize in identifying a student’s unique learning style and designing a curriculum that speaks directly to them. My goal is to foster a lifelong relationship with the piano, where the magic of music becomes a natural extension of who they are.
