Offer a different time instead of cancelling
Offer a different time instead of cancelling
Cancelling ends the booking. Proposing a new time keeps it, and hands the decision to the client — useful when the problem is the hour, not the work.
-
Open the booking and choose Reschedule instead, or Propose New Time.
-
Pick the New date and New time you can actually do.
-
Send Proposal.
-
The booking now reads Pending reschedule and waits for the other person to answer.
Tip: A proposal is not a change. The booking only moves once the client accepts it, so keep the original slot free until they do.
FAQ
Does the client find out?
Yes. They are notified, and the booking shows them "New time proposed" with the option to accept it or decline.
What if they decline the new time?
The booking stays as it was, at the original time. Nothing is lost by asking.
Can the client propose a time to me?
Yes. Both sides can propose, and whoever did not propose is the one who accepts. The booking only moves when the other side agrees.
